"Dogs Playing Poker" Didn't Make The Cut

We are fortunate to live blocks away from the National Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum. It is fabulous on many levels--not the least of which is the top level where Abraham Lincoln's inaugural ball was held on March 6, 1865. It is the third oldest building in D.C and was constructed between 1836 and 1867. We love this place.
